"The client is the expert on their own story; therapy is a space where we discover what that means together" - Emma Elliott

Hi, I’m Emma Elliott, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I work with adolescents and adults who are seeking growth, clarity, and meaningful change in their lives. I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals, helping them navigate challenges while honoring their unique strengths. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in creating a space where you feel truly understood, accepted, and empowered to move toward your goals.

My Approach & Values

Emma Elliott is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is dedicated to supporting adolescents and adults in their pursuit of personal growth and meaningful change. She has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, helping them navigate life’s challenges while recognizing and building upon their inherent strengths. Emma is committed to creating a therapeutic environment in which clients feel understood, accepted, and empowered to work toward their goals.

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Emma developed an early interest in the complexities of the human mind and the ways individuals connect through shared experiences and learning. After relocating to Fresno, California, she pursued her professional path in mental health. Emma earned her Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Waldorf University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Pepperdine University.

Emma utilizes a collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that clients are the experts of their own lived experiences. She integrates evidence-based modalities including Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide individualized treatment tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Emma prioritizes building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, curiosity, and compassion.

Outside of her clinical practice, Emma enjoys crocheting, walking, creating art, and reading. She values creativity and mindfulness as essential components of self-care and incorporates these principles thoughtfully into her therapeutic work.
