My Approach & Values

Kylie is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor dedicated to supporting clients in achieving self-empowerment and self-acceptance. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and geriatric clients, focusing on trauma recovery, sexual abuse, everyday stressors, and utilizing art and play therapy.

As both a mother and a wife, Kylie deeply understands the challenges families face as they transition through different stages of life. Her professional experience includes working in community behavioral health, where she has provided culturally sensitive care to clients from diverse backgrounds. Kylie’s empathetic approach fosters a safe and supportive environment for those seeking therapy.

A native of California, Kylie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, where her passion for supporting vulnerable populations was cultivated. She later completed her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in children and adolescents at the same institution. During her graduate training, she worked with underserved populations in Southern California, developing expertise in integrating spirituality and relaxation into self-care practices.

Kylie brings a compassionate yet directive approach to her work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She practices from a systemic perspective, addressing clients’ challenges within the context of their relationships, family dynamics, and broader cultural and societal systems. Employing a multimodal approach, she incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychoanalysis, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
