“Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
I believe that in order to become better versions of ourselves, we need to first work towards healing and processing our past wounds. Sometimes our wounds and past hurts can hold us back from being better partners, parents, and individuals. It is important for me to provide the individuals that I work with a safe and nurturing environment to heal and grow.
My Approach & Values
Lauren is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who is passionate about working with all clients towards their goals, building upon their strengths, and facilitating an environment for growth towards self-acceptance and self-empowerment. Lauren has experience in working with children, adolescents, and adult individuals who are experiencing issues related to depressed mood, anxiety, grief, relational struggles, trauma, and domestic violence.
Originally from the Central Valley, Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Fresno in 2016. Lauren went on to complete her Master of Science Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling in 2018 at California State University, Fresno.

Lauren is dedicated to bringing an empathetic as well as direct approach to the clients that she serves. Lauren believes that individuals should not just be addressed on an individual level, but also on a systemic level to better understand how an individual interacts within the various systems in their lives including their relationships, family of origin, and their society and culture. Lauren utilizes an eclectic style of treatment integrating techniques from various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy techniques.
