Initially licensed in California, her managerial acumen was honed through her roles across various family service agencies, where she specialized in treating and healing family systems. Heather’s leadership style was pivotal in managing complex cases involving communication issues, conflict resolution, depression, and anxiety, among couples, families, and individuals.
The evolution of Heather’s managerial skills took a significant leap during her transition to Costa Rica. After confronting personal challenges in infertility, Heather, alongside her husband, navigated the complexities of adoption and healthcare systems in a foreign country. This period was not only transformative personally but also professionally, as it enriched her leadership qualities with resilience, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.
In Costa Rica, Heather’s managerial prowess was further showcased as she established and ran a successful private psychology practice. Her ability to adapt to a new cultural environment, manage a diverse client base from over 13 countries, and seamlessly integrate into the local community highlights her exceptional cross-cultural management skills.
