Central Valley Family Therapy is a therapy practice in Fresno, CA that specializes in working with trauma and recovery, maternal mental health, pre-marital and marriage counseling, parenting, infant-mental health, play therapy with children, and working with adolescents. We are passionate about helping our clients at all stages of their life by providing competent and compassionate care.
At Central Valley Family Therapy we aim to break the stigma and provide access to specialized treatment for all individuals and families regardless of culture, diversity, socioeconomic status, and experiences.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CEO
Delivering outstanding customer service has always been an essential part of a day’s work for Meli. As Central Valley Family Therapy’s (CVFT) Executive Assistant to the CEO, she is responsible for all office procedures, and uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a busy work environment.
Meli has been with Central Valley Family Therapy since its inception in 2017. She believes that Central Valley Family Therapy is such a unique organization because the team shares a common vision for excellence and has never grown too big to not know each patient personally.
Her efforts in coordinating the schedules of all of staff has resulted in her being promoted several times within the organization, where she has been able to make several contributions to support CVFT’s departments to run smoothly and efficiently.
Meli continues to work hard for CVFT by supporting the CEO in developing improved management systems for calendar planning, human resource management and accounting activities. Her efforts keep an open channel of communication within and between all departments. Her supportive efforts have also resulted in a clear increase in the efficiency between all levels of the organization. Meli has a heart for helping others and truly enjoys serving our patients and supporting our therapists. Meli is bilingual and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
LEAD INTAKE COORDINATOR
When calling Central Valley Family Therapy, you may be greeted by Rubi, who is warm and caring, as she as she assists you in finding a therapist to meet your needs. She efficiently schedules appointments, collects pertinent information, answers your questions, and helps you feel welcome. Rubi is bilingual and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Rubi has achieved her Medical Assistant degree from San Joaquin Valley College and has worked in the healthcare sector for more than 4 years.
Bao is most likely the first person you will talk to when you call Central Valley Family Therapy. She is welcoming, kind, and supportive of helping every person that is seeking mental health services find the right clinician that will meet their needs. She is a vital asset to our office, and the client experience. She demonstrates this by answering and returning client and provider referral phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting pertinent information, answering your questions, and helping you to find the therapist who is the best fit for you or your family’s needs. Bao has a heart for helping others and truly enjoys serving our patients.
OFFICE SUPPORT PERSONNEL
Eva loves to find ways to help people smile. She is happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visits positive. It is important to her that each patient feels a sense of ease and confidence when seeking mental health care from our office.
Eva has supported the intake, billing, and clinical departments at CVFT since December 2021. Fulfilling is the work of helping others and Eva is proud to be a part of such an amazing team. She believes that our staff is very warm, inviting, and works extremely well together as individuals and collectively to provide the best service and attentive care for our patients.
OFFICE SUPPORT PERSONNEL
Yang provides support to our intake department, billing department, and clinical staff. That sustenance helps our team to provide the best possible patient care to every individual and family seeking treatment. Yang is an organized and efficient professional with experience in providing comprehensive administrative and personal support. She is crucial part of the intake team at Central Valley Family Therapy, who prioritizes CVFT’s value of teamwork and trust. Yang enjoys learning new and interesting things from her interactions with patients. During the weekends she enjoys being with her family and spending time relaxing.
