My Approach & Values

Taylore Darrough, AMFT is a compassionate and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Nutritional Science from San Jose State University and continued her education in Sacramento, obtaining a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco.

Taylore specializes in working with teens and adolescents, as well as individuals managing chronic illness. Living with Type 1 Diabetes herself, she has firsthand insight into the complexities of chronic health conditions. This personal experience fuels her passion for helping others develop coping strategies, build resilience, and enhance their overall well-being.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Taylore strives to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore their emotions, strengthen their resilience, and foster meaningful personal growth.

With a deep commitment to mental health and holistic well-being, Taylore empowers her clients to navigate obstacles, embrace their strengths, and build fulfilling lives.
