“The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation.” -Michael Jackson

Welcome! I’m Angela, an Associate Clinical Social Worker at Central Valley Family Therapy, passionate about a holistic approach to healing—nurturing the mind, body, and spirit together. I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, reflect on challenges, and develop meaningful change. Viewing therapy as a collaborative partnership, I tailor each session to individual needs, integrating various therapeutic approaches to support emotional, mental, and physical well-being. With a client-centered and empowering approach, I encourage self-care, stress management, and personal growth to help individuals navigate both their challenges and life experiences.

My Approach & Values

Angela, ACSW, is a dedicated Associate Clinical Social Worker who takes a holistic approach to mental health, integrating physical wellness and emotional well-being into her practice. She earned her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from California State University, Long Beach, and holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies from California State University, Northridge.

Originally from San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, Angela’s background has given her insight into the challenges individuals face, particularly within healthcare systems and their impact on mental health. She is passionate about helping clients navigate medical concerns, understand treatment options, and advocate for themselves in healthcare settings.

Angela incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. She strives to empower individuals, build resilience, and support both mental and physical well-being.

Outside of her work, Angela enjoys reading, journaling, and practicing self-care, believing in the importance of a balanced lifestyle. Whether guiding clients through mental health challenges, healthcare navigation, or personal growth, she is committed to helping them create positive, lasting change in their lives.
