“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response.” — Viktor E. Frankl

Hello, I’m Addison, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I’m passionate about supporting children, adults, families, and couples as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful growth. I believe therapy is a space to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that shape your emotional well-being. My goal is to create a supportive and welcoming environment where you feel understood, empowered, and encouraged to make positive, lasting changes.

My Approach & Values

Addison is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is dedicated to supporting children, adults, families, and couples as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue meaningful personal growth. She is committed to helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the emotional patterns that influence their well-being. Addison strives to create a therapeutic environment that is supportive, collaborative, and empowering, where clients feel understood and encouraged to make positive, sustainable change.

Originally from Clovis, California, Addison was raised in the Central Valley, an experience that shaped her appreciation for the importance of family, community, and understanding individuals within the context of their lived experiences. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Media and Communications, with an emphasis in Marketing and Advertising, from East Tennessee State University, along with a background in Finance. Addison went on to complete her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University.

Addison takes a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems theory, and psychodynamic approaches. Her work focuses on fostering insight, emotional regulation, and relational growth tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Outside of her clinical work, Addison enjoys running and competed throughout high school and college. This experience deepened her appreciation for the mind–body connection and the role physical movement can play in emotional regulation, resilience, and overall well-being. She values authenticity, balance, and lifelong learning, and thoughtfully incorporates these principles into her work with clients.
