“Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.” Earl Nightingale

Hello and welcome! My name is Amelia Antuna, and I’m glad you’re here. I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which we work together to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges while identifying meaningful goals for growth. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical, with a focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and helping clients develop skills they can apply in everyday life. I strive to meet each person where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs and experiences.

My Approach & Values

Amelia Antuna is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #135596) dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families in improving emotional well-being and building healthier relationships. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Merced, and her Master of Social Work from Fairfield University in Connecticut.

Born and raised in California’s Central Valley, Amelia is committed to serving diverse communities and expanding access to quality mental health care. Her background has fostered a deep appreciation for the roles that family, culture, and identity play in personal development and emotional well-being, which continue to inform her work as a therapist.

Amelia takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, grounded in a client-centered perspective. She integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help clients better understand their emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen communication and problem-solving skills. She especially enjoys working with youth and families and supporting clients as they explore their cultural identity and personal experiences. Amelia strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to pursue meaningful change.

Outside of her professional work, Amelia enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and traveling.
