“We do not overcome by forgetting what we have been through, but by owning every chapter of our story. We carry the scars, the lessons, and the strength forward-not as burdens, but as proof that we kept going. Is a different kind of joy that comes after hardship: the joy of knowing life tried to break you, yet here you stand-still loving, still laughing, still becoming, and still choosing to live fully.” -Anonymous

Hello, I’m Ashlee, an Associate Clinical Social Worker. I believe therapy provides a meaningful space to better understand your experiences, deepen your self-awareness, and develop healthy ways to cope, heal, and grow within a safe and supportive environment. My approach is compassionate and gentle while also being direct and encouraging when appropriate to support meaningful growth. Whether you are navigating a life transition, processing past experiences that continue to affect you, managing anxiety or overwhelming emotions, learning to establish healthy boundaries, or working to reconnect with your sense of self, I will meet you where you are. Together, we will create space for your story, recognize the strengths and resilience that have supported you along the way, and take intentional steps toward the growth and change that are meaningful to you.

My Approach & Values

Ashlee is an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #138497) who is passionate about creating a supportive and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. She works with adolescents and adults, with particular clinical interests in adverse childhood experiences, anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem and identity development, family and relationship challenges, and establishing healthy boundaries.

Ashlee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Fresno Pacific University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Grand Canyon University. Her professional experience includes supporting individuals with disabilities as well as adolescents in the foster care system who have experienced trauma, abandonment, and abuse. These experiences have strengthened her understanding of how early life experiences, relationships, and individual circumstances can influence the way people view themselves, connect with others, and navigate challenges throughout their lives.

In her therapeutic work, Ashlee utilizes a strengths-based and person-centered approach while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care based on each client’s unique needs and goals. She believes in meeting clients where they are while helping them recognize their strengths, develop effective coping and emotional regulation skills, explore patterns, establish healthy boundaries, and work toward meaningful personal growth.

Outside of her clinical work, Ashlee enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, listening to music, and going to the beach. She values meaningful connections and appreciates finding opportunities to slow down, recharge, and enjoy time with the people who are important to her.
