“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” — Brené Brown

Hi there, I’m Brittany, an associate marriage and family therapist! I believe therapy is not about “fixing” someone, but rather about creating a safe and supportive space where healing, growth, and self-discovery can unfold naturally. I see therapy as a collaborative process—an opportunity to gain insight, process emotions, and develop meaningful tools for living a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to walk alongside you as a supportive guide, helping you reconnect with your inner resilience and strengths. My treatment style is integrative and person-centered, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches. I tailor my methods to meet your unique needs and preferences, always striving to cultivate a therapeutic space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and empowering—where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

My Approach & Values

Brittany is an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families through compassionate, evidence-based care. She holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a Master’s in School Counseling along with an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree. Her academic and clinical training has been shaped by diverse, multicultural environments that emphasize empathy, advocacy, and a holistic understanding of mental health.

Born and raised in Madera County, Brittany’s upbringing in small-town communities deeply influences her approach as a therapist. Her background has instilled a strong appreciation for the resilience of individuals navigating complex life experiences and has shaped her culturally sensitive, client-centered lens. Brittany is committed to creating safe, affirming spaces where clients of all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and supported.

Clinically, Brittany draws from Attachment Theory, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Theory. She practices from a trauma-informed, whole-person perspective and enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational conflict, and life transitions. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to meet the unique goals of each individual or family she serves.

Outside the therapy room, Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors, being with her family, and trying new experiences—activities that ground her and allow her to bring authenticity and presence to her work. She believes that healing takes place in connection—with oneself and with others—and strives to be a warm, curious, and steady presence as she walks alongside her clients on their journey toward growth and lasting change.
