"No feeling is final." – Rainer Maria Rilke, translated by Joanna Macy and Anita Barrows

Hi, I’m Hannah, I can’t wait to meet you! You don’t need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. I believe each person has the capacity for healing, growth, and meaningful change, and therapy can provide a supportive space to explore and connect with your most authentic self. I strive to create a warm, trusting, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Growth often happens gradually, and every step forward—no matter how small—is meaningful. Wherever you are in your journey, my goal is to meet you with compassion and understanding and walk alongside you as you move toward greater healing, self-discovery, and well-being.

My Approach & Values

Hannah is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who enjoys working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies from California State University, Bakersfield in 2013 and later earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with distinction from National University in 2026. Originally from Bakersfield, Hannah’s connection to the Central Valley has shaped her appreciation for the unique experiences, relationships, and circumstances that influence each person’s story. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma recovery, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns.

Prior to joining Central Valley Family Therapy, Hannah completed her clinical practicum at InspireMe Counseling and Psychotherapy, Inc., where she provided individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents in an outpatient setting. Her clinical experience allowed her to draw from a variety of evidence-based and relational approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, attachment-based approaches, and family systems perspectives.

At the heart of Hannah’s work is a belief in the importance of genuine human connection. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, compassion-focused, trauma-informed, and relational, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and supported. She values authenticity, curiosity, and self-compassion while honoring each client’s individual pace and process. Recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, Hannah thoughtfully tailors her approach to each client’s unique experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.

Hannah is also committed to continued growth and learning as a clinician. She believes meaningful therapeutic work requires ongoing reflection, openness, and a willingness to continually learn from research, professional development, colleagues, and, most importantly, the clients she has the privilege of supporting.

Outside of her clinical work, Hannah enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time outdoors, and learning about different cultures, traditions, and history. She also enjoys getting lost in a good documentary or memoir and spending time with her two Cavapoos, who keep her present and make sure she is never under-supervised.
