No one’s healing or growing process is the same or on any given timeline. Therapy is also not a “one size fits all.” I believe in meeting each individual where they are at and collaborating throughout the treatment process. I feel truly honored by the opportunity to offer support along your wellness journey. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am passionate about person-centered and humanistic counseling.


My Approach & Values

Juliana is an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Juliana graduated with her Bachelor’s in Psychology with Minors in Sociology and Equine Science from New Mexico State University in 2015 with honors. She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with her Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from California State University, Fresno in 2019.

Prior to joining the team at Central Valley Family Therapy, Juliana completed her practicum hours at Blue Sky Wellness Center and Kingsview PATH, and her associate hours and a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program. She has experience doing group, individual, and family therapy and has experience with various evidenced-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, SMART Recovery, and Seeking Safety.

Born and raised in Southern California, Juliana chose to remain in the central valley following completing her master’s degree due to an affinity for hiking and enjoying the views of the beautiful Sequoia Mountains. She loves to travel, spending time outdoors, doing yoga, and helping animals. Juliana has a passion for helping others, and appreciates environments with peer support and collaborative opportunities.
