“If one has courage, nothing can dim the light which shines from within.” Maya Angelou

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here and considering taking this meaningful step toward greater understanding, growth, and well-being. I view therapy as a collaborative and supportive process that provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences. I recognize that opening up can feel vulnerable or challenging, which is why I prioritize creating a trusting and compassionate environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at a pace that feels right for you. In our work together, you can expect an empathetic, thoughtful, and individualized approach that honors your unique experiences while helping you gain insight, recognize your strengths, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. My goal is to meet you where you are, support you throughout the therapeutic process, and work alongside you toward meaningful and lasting changes that enhance your overall well-being.

My Approach & Values

Sarie is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they strengthen their emotional well-being and navigate life’s challenges. She works with clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. Sarie is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Sarie earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Social Science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and later completed her Master of Clinical Counseling at Walden University. Through her education and clinical training, she gained experience working with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds while developing a strong appreciation for the importance of understanding each client’s unique experiences, values, and circumstances.

Originally from Virginia, Sarie relocated to California in 2019, an experience that further broadened her perspective and strengthened her appreciation for the ways culture, relationships, and life experiences can influence an individual’s well-being. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. She thoughtfully adapts these approaches to meet each client’s individual needs, strengths, and therapeutic goals.

Outside of her clinical work, Sarie enjoys spending quality time with her family, staying active, and continuing her professional growth. She strives to provide a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can comfortably explore their experiences, recognize their strengths, develop meaningful skills, and work toward positive and lasting change.
