“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” — Carl Rogers

Hello, I’m Vinesh, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist Whether you are new to therapy or have previous experience, finding the right therapist can feel like an important and sometimes challenging step. I believe therapy is most meaningful when you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be authentically yourself. My approach is warm, collaborative, and centered on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can slow down, reflect, and better understand what may be happening beneath the surface. Together, we can explore the experiences and patterns that may be influencing your life while identifying practical, meaningful ways to support growth, healing, and lasting change.

My Approach & Values

Vinesh is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, deepen their connection with themselves, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. He works with clients experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions.

Vinesh earned his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Santa Clara University. As part of his graduate training, he completed his clinical practicum at West Valley College, where he provided individual counseling to community college students navigating a wide range of personal, emotional, and life challenges.

At the heart of Vinesh’s approach is the belief that therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than expecting the individual to fit within a specific therapeutic model. He takes a person-centered and collaborative approach, incorporating mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based on each client’s unique needs and goals. Vinesh is particularly passionate about helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, recognize patterns and experiences that may be influencing their lives and relationships, and cultivate greater self-compassion as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Growing up in California’s Central Valley has shaped Vinesh’s appreciation for the important roles that family, culture, and relationships can play in shaping our experiences and sense of self. Outside of his work as a therapist, yoga and meditation have been meaningful parts of his life for many years. He also enjoys staying active, spending time in nature, and relaxing with a good show.
