"People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.” ― Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth

Hello! My name is Jasmarina, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who  is deeply committed to the transformative power of therapy.  I feel grateful for my role of being able to aid patients to realize their personal aspirations and embrace the life they aspire to. With a rich background in addressing the needs of teenagers, young adults, and those recovering from trauma I integrate many modalities of healing into my therapeutic work, including,  art therapy, mindfulness, spirituality, and inner child work, hoping to create a holistic therapeutic experience for you as I support you on your journey.

My Approach & Values

Jasmarina’s approach is deeply influenced by her own journey of healing and self-discovery. This personal experience has endowed her with a profound appreciation for the courage and resilience required for inner work and self-exploration. Her philosophy embraces the concept of living life one day at a time and valuing every step in the journey of personal growth.

Hailing originally from the Midwest, Jasmarina’s path led her to California at the age of 18, where she pursued and achieved her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton in 2017. It was during her undergraduate studies that Jasmarina’s passion for genuine connection, healing, and deep inner work began to flourish. Continuing her academic and professional journey, she earned her Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles in 2020, further honing her skills in counseling diverse populations.

Jasmarina’s therapeutic approach is distinguished by her focus on the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and soul. She believes in the profound interrelation of these aspects in achieving mental health and well-being. Her eclectic approach allows her to meet each client where they are, employing a variety of modalities including Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Inner Child Work, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Jasmarina excels in guiding her clients toward rediscovering their true selves and empowering them to become their own inner healer and guide.

Jasmarina’s dedication to her craft and her clients is evident in her compassionate approach and her commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and transformative space for healing and growth.
