"Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove the will of God." –Romans 12:2

As a human just like you, I feel honored to be in a position that gives me the privilege to create a safe space where you can express yourself, learn, grow and prosper as I guide you with a person-centered approach. I understand feeling as though something is missing; walking through a never-ending forest and being unable to find the right path for you. My goal is to support you in living mindfully, learn about how your brain works, build resilience and walk in courage in a world where struggles are presented each day. Please come as you are and allow me to challenge you to determine the path where you will discover your purpose and come in alignment with your life.

My Approach & Values

Lilit is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who enjoys working with individuals, such as young/older adults, and is passionate about working towards achieving resilience and finding one’s purpose. Lilit provides and applies both engaging and challenges approaches that aid in anxiety, fear, eating disorders, unhealthy attachment styles, low self-esteem, and unhealthy boundaries. Lilit graduated with her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Ashford University in 2017 then moved on to graduate with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with honors in 2020.

During her graduate program, Lilit worked as an intern counselor with adolescents in a school setting while simultaneously working as a mental health worker at an eating disorder residential facility. Prior to working at Central Valley Family Therapy, Lilit worked as an Associate Therapist at a telehealth company for nearly two years where she provided services to adults who struggled with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, attachment, belief systems, low self-esteem, relationships, and so forth. Lilit primarily has experience working with individuals using evidence-based exercises and a multimodal perspective to treatment, integrated from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotions-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solutions-Focused Therapy (SFT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Reality Therapy (RT). Additionally, Lilit also has experience in helping those who feel spiritually disconnected; to produce faith through God with the purpose of reaching freedom, forgiveness, and hope.

Lilit emphasizes working from a systemic perspective seeking to approach clients’ individual needs as well as their interactions in various areas including relationships, work environments, family of origin, childhood experiences, and culture. This can be better accomplished as she works with you to form a compassionate and driven alliance that would navigate growth. Lilit can help guide you in gaining the confidence needed to reach one’s own perspective, conclusions, and goals while providing you with unconditional support, kindness, honesty, and integrity. She understands the daily heaviness of this world where each client’s experience is unique to their own and solemnly vows to provide specialized care for each person’s goals.

Lilit has always lived in Southern California in the Los Angeles area where the sun is shining and the birds are chirping right outside her window. Lilit fairly considers herself an ambivert enjoying time with the people she loves by getting a bite to eat, hiking, swimming in the ocean, game nights, going on walks, shopping and visiting movie theatres while simultaneously enjoying time alone in self-care, prayer, reading, watching anime/TV shows, practicing Pilates and loving all people.
